Honestly, the first thing that hits you is this incredible freshness, like fresh as a 12 yo Clynelish, but then it just keeps unfolding. You get these amazing waves of various honeys and waxes, and bags and bags of citrusy and waxy herbs. The aftertaste is where it really sings – it’s a long finish, truly more than one minute, you can almost count it out, one second per year. There are these piney raisins in the aftertaste, and it brings to mind myriads of assorted herbal and fruity molecules. It’s like a subtlest mead mixed with a drop of elderflower liqueur and some old Bénédictine. There’s a whiff of fern and moss, a touch of yellow chartreuse, and even some old leather way in the back. The maturity is splendid, with tropical fruit jams and pollens all dancing an endless jig. It feels almost a statement, no single signs of over-aging, just pure nectars. It’s highly impressive, really – the art of raising whisky casks epitomised, if you ask me. 🥃

Blimey, this one's a cracker! Right away I'm getting whiffs of fern and moss – like a damp forest floor after rain. The color's a lovely full gold, and the flavors? Myriads of herbal and fruity notes just dancing an endless jig on the tongue. It's almost a statement in a glass. A hint of something like yellow chartreuse comes through, but no single signs of over-aging here. The freshness is just incredible, honestly! Bags and bags of citrusy and waxy herbs linger for more than a minute. The art of raising casks really shines – nectars, tropical fruit jams, even the subtlest mead. Touches of old leather and polished old furniture weave in. Fresh as a young whisky, really. Ends with a long finish, a drop of elderflower liqueur and old herbal liqueur vibes. Highly impressive! 😊

Just had a dram that was something else. Colour? Full gold, so inviting. Nose-wise, fresh as a whisky aged 12 years – bags and bags of citrusy and waxy herbs, with a drop of elderflower liqueur. Pollens drifting around, reminding me of tropical fruit jams and dried figs, notes of very old rums and the greatest vintages of that legendary dessert wine. On the tongue, polished old furniture and whiffs of fern and moss. Aftertaste? Piney raisins and the subtlest mead, dancing an endless jig for more than a minute – 74 seconds to be precise! Various honeys and waxes come through, with myriads of assorted herbal and fruity molecules. No signs of over-aging; maturity is splendid. Freshness is just incredible, aging at one second per year. Art of raising whisky casks epitomised here – highly impressive. 😊

Quite gentle at first, then a bit of honey, oak and dried fruit comes through. Feels warm, smooth-ish, with a wee spicy kick at the end 🥃 Nice for a slow evening sip.

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, oak and dried fruit. There’s a soft spicy kick, then a cosy smoky finish 🥃 Feels like a proper slow-sipper on a chilly evening.
