Nice amber/mahogany colour in the glass. Nose is totally in line — first thing I get is a whiff of blood oranges and roses, then a deeper note of prunes and muscatel, almost like a fine cassis jelly. A little swirl, and there’s a touch of iris too. Took a sip and oh wow, the taste is superb. Totally unusual for me — it really is like drinking a glass of crème de cassis de Dijon, that rich cassissy fruitiness, but wrapped in this smooth, relatively light style. Then the chocolate comes through, gently at first... and then the chocolate strikes back, joined by something tangy like tamarind. First time I come across this association in whisky, honestly. Has a bit of an armagnacky warmth to it, but the fruit keeps it bright. Swims like Mark Spitz in the mouth — lively but controlled. A very great bottle. Just wow, even better than I expected. 👍

Oh my, that first sip is like… woah. The colour in the glass is this deep, gorgeous amber, almost mahogany. It smells of dark chocolate and roses, but then there’s this totally unusual twist – like crème de cassis de Dijon jelly, rich and jammy. It tastes superb. There’s a lovely muscatel sweetness mixed with a tangy, almost tamarind-like note that makes my mouth water. The finish is so long, leaving hints of armagnacky depth and that cassis jelly linger. Absolutely love how it all hangs together. 🥃

Just had a sip – this is superb! The nose is totally in line with the nose, iris and roses jumping out. Tastes like eating some cassis jelly with blood oranges, then chocolate strikes back – how funny! It's a brave Spaniard, totally unusual. Finish is long, like drinking a glass of crème de cassis de Dijon. 😊

Wow, this dram's relatively light but packed with totally unusual vibes. Nose it and you get cassis jelly and iris, like eating some cassis jelly while sniffing roses – totally in line with the nose! Taste-wise, it's smooth with chocolate strikes back, followed by prunes, blood oranges, and muscatel. Oh, and there's a cassissy thing going on, almost like drinking a glass of crème de cassis de Dijon. The color's gorgeous amber/mahogany, and it swims like Mark Spitz – super silky. Long finish with armagnacky notes, tamarind, and a hint of brave Spaniard flair. First time I've come across this association in whisky, and it's a very great bottle! 👍

Oh mate, this whisky is proper lush. 😋 First sip, teh warmth hits ya right away, like a cozy fireplace vibe. 🔥 Gotta say, I'm gettin' notes of honey and a wee bit of smoke, init? The finish is smooth as, lasts ages – perfect for unwindin' after work. 👍 Cheers to that! 🥃
