刚从酒柜深处翻出这个旧hipflask，倒了一小杯。闻起来居然有点像小时候偷喝的sour apples汁，混着些white wine似的清新感。 第一口下去，质地厚重得像碗热腾腾的porridge，有种muscovado红糖的甜暖。但接着涌上来的，是烧焦木头的烟熏味，还有点类似nougat的坚果香。 中段能感觉到明显的malty骨架，支撑着一些fermenting hay的草本气息，偶尔闪过一丝peach leaf tea的清甜。 后段有点tougher，raw oak的涩感出来了，带着点好喝的soup的醇厚。 说真的，尾韵有点baby vt那种独特的酵感，配合grist的谷物香。整体grassy and malty的底子，反而比那些heavier beers更容易亲近，nicer on the palate。就是收尾那一抹a little sour，让人想起果园。 😌

just had a dram from my hipflask – it's got this raw oak vibe, kinda lager-ish but with a sour mustard kick. The good robust malt is there, a little sour but nicer on the palate as it settles. 🥃 Fermenting hay and porridge come through, with grist underneath. White wine or straw notes, and nougat from the burnt woods – that's lovely. Sour apples peek in, malty and tougher than expected. Grassy and malty, leaves and grasses, like a hearty soup. reminds me of heavier beers but medium in feel. That muscovado sweetness balances it all out. 😊 oh, and a weird hint of baby vt – but not off-putting, oddly. 👀

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak and a wee touch of spice. Feels warm, smooth-ish, with a gentle fruity sweetness. Nice for a quiet evening, no fuss.
