Just had a sip of this – blimey, it's a heavy hitter. Overcooked leather and bitter dark chocolate upfront, like diving into some mature old Burgundy. There's this mulchy, earthy thing going on, with umami vibes and sea salt lingering on the finish. Gamey notes sneak in, almost like miso paste, but it's not too in your face. Wood and spice mix with sweeter bits, kind of like trifle soaked in kirsch. It's really testing the limits with its very heavy sherry, ink-like darkness, and chocolate sauce touches. Walnut oil and hardwood resins add depth, alongside date loaf sweetness. Earthy old style sherry all the way – heavy stuff, but somehow balanced. 🥃
