First sip – very elementary, almost basic. But then you get this dry paraffiny side, like pear juice with a sprinkle of salt. Kinda dirty, but that's just part of the game here, innit? Body's medium yet fat, with lemon and toasted oak notes. There's a sooty edge too, reminds me a bit of smoked salmon. Very good overall, and the aftertaste lingers nicely. 👍

Right, just poured a wee dram and honestly, first nosing I'm getting this whiff of paraffin, proper old-school. Sippin' through, there's that dry paraffiny side again, almost sooty, like a chimney sweep's pocket. Slightly dusty, a wee bit dirty on the palate — but not in a bad way, part of the game here innit. Mid-palate it's medium yet fat, somehow coating, then boom — clear Williams pear spirit, those tinned pear notes cutting through. Finish leaves a lingering aftertaste, still that waxy, paraffin thread. Gotta say, this is very good. Actually, very very good. Clear BFYB whisky, no messing about. Cheeky wee firecracker 🥃✨

Warm and mellow, with a wee bit of spice and sweet oak. Feels cosy, smooth, and slightly fruity — like a quiet night in by the fire 🥃✨

Feels cosy and a bit posh, like dried fruit, soft spice and a wee bit of smoke 🥃 Sweet at first, then turns warm and oaky. Nice slow sipper for a quiet evening, honestly.

Quite cosy stuff 🥃 I get honey, vanilla, a bit of ripe pear, then some gentle spice and oak. Warm, slightly buttery, with a soft smoky bit at the end. Lovely on a chilly evening, tbh.
