First sip feels well-balanced, not too harsh, with a slight mustard tingle that fades quick. There's this camphor freshness, kinda cool on the tongue, and the colour is like bright gold. 🥃 As I sip more, the lemony side grows bigger, making it zestier and longer on the finish. Smoke notes come through, evoking coal and wood, a bit rugged but charming. Manzanilla cask influence adds a sweet, nutty vibe, like concentrated walnut extracts, making it more fun overall. Not very sexy, but honestly, quite satisfying. 😊

This one's not an easy whisky to pin down, is it? First sip hits with mustard and charcoal, a bit grumpy really. But then... More fun comes through, like orange and lemon marmalades on toast, and a surprising pear sweetness. Reminds me a bit of the Coopers' style, actually. Definitely very singular. Not very sexy, but hey, it's better balanced than I expected. The coal and wood notes are there, but something lifts it – maybe that concentrated walnut extract richness. The smokiness builds slowly. By the end, that lemony side just grew bigger and bigger. Quite the journey! 🍋💨

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, oak and soft smoke. Feels cosy, slightly spicy, and leaves a nice gentle sweetness after 😊 A proper easy evening dram.

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 I get soft honey, a bit of oak, some dried fruit and a wee touch of spice. Feels warm and mellow, with a gentle smoky edge. Nice for a quiet evening, honestly.

Quite warming and easy to sit with 🥃 I get a bit of honey, soft oak, some dried fruit and a wee touch of spice. Feels cosy rather than showy, with a gentle smoky edge at the end. Nice for a slow evening.
