Crikey, that first hit is something else. Feels like I've just sniffed a bottle of high-concentration varnish mixed with litres of nail polish remover. Acetone and ammonia right up the nose, with this huge acetic sting that's honestly a bit frightening. But wait for it to calm down... Deep gold in the glass. It's a trans-genre baby alright, like seawater meets sherry vinegar meets a bowl of onion soup. So extremely manzanilla-y, with that bacterial, gluey funk. A real balsamic compost vibe going on. After a minute, the walnuts and toffee start to peek through, all splendid and rich. Still got that varnishy note, but it feels more integrated now. Holy Molly, what a journey.

Wow, this dram's huge! First hit is a real acetic sting – like litres of nail polish remover or acetone. Very manzanilla-y, with balsamico and sherry vinegar vibes. It's a high-ester whisky, alright. Then it starts calming down, and I get walnuts, toffee, and that deep gold colour. The finish is rather long, with a high-concentration varnish note, almost like glue. Holy Molly, it's a trans-genre baby – hints of bacterial compost mixed with seawater and splendid sherry character. Love it! 😄

Got a wee dram in hand 🥃 Nose is pure caramal and vanila, wi’ a whiff of honeycomb and a cheeky hint o’ cinnamon. On the palate, it’s smothe and creamy. Raisins, spiced apple crumble, and a touch of charred oak comin’ through. Finish sticks around wiv a gentle pepper tingle and mabey whisper of candied ginger. Proper cozy stuff. Not half bad at all 👌

This whiskey's got a lovely smokey vibe, with peat and fruity notes hitting first. 🥃 The honey sweetness is quite nice, and there's a spicy kick at the end. Woody and malty too. Really enjoy the nutty undertones. Cheers! 😊

Right, had a dram last night and here's my thoughts 🥃 Nose: Got this lovely vanilla and honey combo straight off, with a bit of citrus peeking through. Gentle smoke in the background, like a distant bonfire 🍯 Palate: Really smooth, almost creamy tbh. Apple and pear hit first, then some warm spice kicks in - cinnamon maybe? Little bit of chocolate and caramel hiding in there too 🍎 Finish: Medium length, warming. Some oak and sherry notes linger. Slight nuttiness coming through at the end which is quite nice 🥜 Overall: Pretty well balanced, not too heavy. The smoke and sweet work together proper well. Would deffo have another glass after dinner 👍 sotthly warming if that makes sense lol
