Light gold in the glass, and the first sip is very lemony, like fresh green apple juice with a hint of coconut oil. It feels rounder, with notes of fresh almonds, but then a dry cider sharpness comes through – and there's this acrid grassiness, almost green, reminding me of raw barley or hay. 🌾 The peppery kick gives it a bitterish side, with touches of green pepper and lemongrass. It's a little austere, not the smoothest dram ever. The aftertaste is long, lingering with butterscotch, lime, and grapefruits. I caught a faint acetone whiff, like sugarcane gone wrong, but it fades. Interesting, though – makes you wonder about a refill. 🤔

Wow, just had a dram and it's got a real mix of things. Started with a smooth, almost coconut oil kind of feel, then that sweet butterscotch came through. Very lemony at first, sharp like green apple juice, with some raw barley in the background. Grapfruits and lime gave it a zesty edge, and there's a bitterish side, like apple peelings or dry cider. The aftertaste is long, and it got rounder as I sipped. A bit of acrid grassiness lingers, but in a good way. Found myself going for a refill already! 🍋

Poured myself a glass of this light gold dram the other night. First whiff - quite lemony, almost like lemongrass with some green apple juice mixed in. Not the smoothest dram ever on the nose to be honest, a bit sharp. The palate's got that bitterish side to it, reminds me of dry cider and apple peelings. There's some butterscotch trying to round things out but it's not the easiest to get along with at first. A little austere, like raw barley and hay steeped in green tea. Getting some grapefruits and lime on the zesty front, with a hint of fresh almonds and even a touch of coconut oil lurking in there. Peppery kick too, and oddly enough some green pepper and that acrid grassiness. Almost green in its youthfulness. Oh and there was this brief acetone note that threw me off a bit 😅 The aftertaste is surprisingly long though, which redeems it somewhat. Keeps evolving - sugarcane notes come through after a while. Definitely a green Miltonduff character to it. Wouldn't say it's a crowd pleaser but I quite fancy another refill when I'm in the mood for something with a bit more bite.

哈,倒出来是light gold的颜色,看着就清新。 闻起来有lemony和grapefruits的清爽,底下还藏着些green pepper和hay的草本气息,挺sharp的。 第一口下去确实not the smoothest dram ever,有点austere的刺激感。 但慢慢会化开,感觉到butterscotch和fresh almonds的甜,还带点coconut oil的滑润。 尾韵long,像dry cider和"green" apple juice混合,最后是lemongrass和acrid grassiness的收尾。
