Light gold in the glass, and the first sip is very lemony, like fresh green apple juice with a hint of coconut oil. It feels rounder, with notes of fresh almonds, but then a dry cider sharpness comes through – and there's this acrid grassiness, almost green, reminding me of raw barley or hay. 🌾 The peppery kick gives it a bitterish side, with touches of green pepper and lemongrass. It's a little austere, not the smoothest dram ever. The aftertaste is long, lingering with butterscotch, lime, and grapefruits. I caught a faint acetone whiff, like sugarcane gone wrong, but it fades. Interesting, though – makes you wonder about a refill. 🤔
