Just poured a dram of this malt whisky – honestly, it's got a cracking lemon brioche vibe, excellently citrusy, like fresh lemon juice squeezed over something. Pretty malty too, with a doughy feel that sticks around. The aftertaste? Weirdly like 7up, a bit fizzy and refreshing. Not too sweet, just a little, which is nice. Smells of crayons and hay, with ripe apples sneaking in. No supermarket junk here, it's all proper. The mouthfeel has superb waxiness, kinda like pure citric porridge – very all right. No complains at all. There's this chalk and concrete note, little yeasty, and green peppers pop up. Proper yoghurt tanginess, with barley syrup sweetness making it feel like an epitomical malt whisky. Moderate length finish, hints of ink and plasticine, and a little spicy kick at the end. Decent pour. 😊
