Just poured myself a glass of this whisky, and it's like dipping into old wine barrels – that deep, aged richness. I'm getting these jams that are still here, probably apricot jam blended with richer sherry. There's nougats and some Smyrna raisins, almost like Turkish delights. More honey creeps in, with lovely notes of homemade marmalade. The aftertaste? Honey-coated roasted pecans, and something exotic with some mango jelly. It's medium-bodied, and honestly, really better than I remembered it from earlier vintages. Various honeys make it so comforting. 😊

Oh wow, this one's lovely. The nose is just... really pleasant, honestly. Getting a lot of that homemade marmalade and apricot jam first, with a bit of orange blossom water underneath. Tastes quite sweet, like a richer sherry influence maybe? A bit of cocoa powder and nougats on the tongue, then something more exotic, like mango jelly or those Smyrna raisins. There's definitely various honeys coming through. The aftertaste is the best part though. Honey-coated roasted pecans and pastries, a little drop of moscatel lingers. Jaffa cakes, I think? It's definitely better than I remembered from older versions. Quite enjoyable. 👍

Well, poured a dram of this after dinner. 👃 First thing, really pleasant on the nose – got lovely notes of homemade marmalade and something a bit exotic, maybe like a hint of mango jelly. Pale amber colour in the glass, looked inviting. Sipping it now... upfront there's more honey coming through, not just one type but like various honeys mixed together. 🍯 Quite a medium body. Then I get a distinct hit of Jaffa cakes and some orange blossom water, very pastries-like. There are also drops of moscatel sweetness and nougats in there. The finish has Honey-coated roasted pecans and some Smyrna raisins, a bit like Turkish delights. As it opens up, I'm getting cocoa powder, which makes it a bit more drying towards the end, which is actually quite nice. Honestly, it's really better than I remembered it from earlier vintages – a really a hit in any household, I reckon. 🥃

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, soft oak and a wee peppery kick. Feels cosy rather than showy — nice by the fire, honestly 🥃✨
