Quite enjoy that lovely earthy side of this one. First sip gives you lemon peel, maybe even a bit more lemon than expected. There's a clear minerality, some white pepper and a touch of ginger coming through. The strength is higher, so it's a little less 'full' and less easy or sexy at first. But it works very well as it opens up. The finish is long, with pepper pretty big in the finish and aftertaste. I get notes of fresh mushrooms, grass, and straw. Less vanilla here, and something like cinchona. Reminds me of a walk in a field after rain. An excellent pour, really. 🥃

这杯喝起来,泥煤的泥土感挺明显的,但没那么直接好懂,有点含蓄。 和92年那版比,它没那么饱满,收尾的胡椒感很突出,留得也久。 柠檬皮和姜的味道比之前尝到的多,草本感也更显眼。 少了点香草甜,倒是能尝出点奎宁水那种微微的草药苦。 整体有种矿物质的感觉,算是Glen Keith里比较清瘦的类型吧。 生麦芽和鲜蘑菇的风味交织,这些层次倒是配合得不错 👍 悠长的回味里依然有柠檬和胡椒在打转。 总的来说,是个挺有意思、值得细品的版本。

Just had a dram and here's what came to mind – starts off with straw and raw barley, quite grassy and fresh. Not much vanilla, which is nice, and there's a lovely earthy side with fresh mushrooms. It feels a little less 'full' in body, but the lemon peel and more lemon notes pop out, with touches of ginger. The finish is long, and wow, pepper pretty big in the finish and aftertaste – white pepper and some cinchona bitterness. It's austere and minerally, works very well if you like that. Less easy or sexy, but definitely excellent. Reminds me of 1992 vibes, all earthy and fruity. 🌿

Right, so this one's got a bit of bite to it – the higher strength really shows, but in a good way. First thing I got was raw barley and a sort of straw-like quality, almost like walking past a farm in early autumn. There's something quite austere about it honestly, not flashy at all. Got some grassiness and fresh mushrooms coming through, which sounds odd but kinda works. The minerality gives it this dry, almost chalky backbone. Lemon peel pops up here and there, and there's a subtle fruitiness hiding underneath. Reminds me a bit of cinchona tonic water actually – that bitter-sweet herbal thing going on. Less easy or sexy than some drams I've had, but it's got character. The more lemon comes through as it opens up. And blimey, that pepper! 🌶️ Pretty big in the finish and hangs around for ages after. Warming stuff really. Not your casual Friday night pour, more of a "sit down and really pay attention" kind of whisky. Interesting one for sure.
