First sip feels like biting into a warm, buttery cake 🍰 – those brioche and cake-y notes are really upfront. Then it gets maltier, with a honey sweetness that comes through, and a bit of vanilla. There’s a whiff of straw and dandelions in the background, which is kinda nice, like a field in summer. The pear note is more like butter pears, soft and ripe. It’s medium in body, pretty dry on the finish, but in a good way. Not unpleasant at all. Ends clean and tidy.

It's got that proper peaty kick, but then... a surprising sweetness comes through, kinda like dark honey. Maybe some stewed apple? So smooth on the tongue, though. Not harsh at all. Oh wow, this one's got a real nice nose on it. 🍯 Got a lovely bit of apple and honey first off, with just a gentle waft of smoke in the background. So inviting! The taste is proper lush. There's a sweetness, like stewed fruits or maybe even a bit of toffee apple. A slight prickle of spice on the tongue, mind – quite warming but not harsh at all. Sits really well in the mouth, just coats it, like. And the finish! That's where it really shines. It's got this long, gentle warmth that just lingers. You can still taste that hint of sweetness, but now it's joined by somethin' a bit more woody, maybe a touch of vanilla. Really moreish. 👌 A real comfortin' dram, this is.
