Right, so first sip, and it’s like biting into a ripe plum straight from the tree. 🍑 Then I’m getting a big hit of those sharper fruits – gooseberries, grapefruits – really juicy and tart. There’s a lovely grassy note in there too, almost like walking through a damp orchard in spring. The straw and new oak come through nicely, giving it a good, sturdy body. Ooh, now the aniseed and liquorice are popping up, a bit like old-fashioned sweets. A hint of fennel and menthol keeps it fresh. The finish has this pleasant tartness, with melons and apricots lingering. Really feels like summer in a glass, all green and fruitful. 🍏

Just had a dram and wow, the finish is really long. Getting notes of grated coconut and melons at first, then it turns greener with apples and louder fruits. There's a hint of fennel and straw, with a pleasent tartness. The aniseed comes through nicely. It's big and has a good body, with some menthol kick. Feels a bit nervous on the palate, but grassier towards the end. New oak influence is there, with plums and gooseberries. Ample apricots and liquorice too. Quite a journey! 🥃

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak, vanilla and a wee smoky edge. Feels smooth, gently spicy, with a nice lingering sweetness. Proper easy to sip on a chilly evening.

Quite a cosy dram, this one 🥃 I get soft vanilla, a bit of oak, some dried fruit and a wee touch of spice. Feels warming without being too heavy. Finish is gentle, slightly sweet, with a little peppery kick. Nice easy sipper for a quiet evening.
