Pale gold in the glass, smells fresh with greengages and tart apples, a bit of green melon and pears. 🥃 On the palate, it's rather sweet with vanilla-y notes, a touch biscuity, and thick, oily texture. Bags of greener spices like cardamom come through, with lemon and apples lingering. Feels like a natural Speysider, not being extravagant, medium body – reminds me of barley water with a hint of green pepper and raw barley. Pretty average overall, but fresh and easygoing.

Pale gold in the glass ✨ Fresh pears, green apple and melon up front, with a wee lemony tang. Feels medium, slightly oily, quite sweet but not over the top. Bit of barley water, vanilla biscuit, grassiness and a touch of green pepper/cardamom. Nice with a splash of water. Easy, fresh, and pretty pleasant.

Right, so this one’s a bit of a puzzle innit. Nose is all mango 🥭, citrus 🍊, and a whack of ginger. Bit of red plum, faint peat, maybe some apple honey 🍎🍯? Touch of pepper and eucalyptus too, like them sherry bombs but not quite. The sip (can’t say the other word 🙃) hits with toffee, almond, spice, and a wee oily feel. Finish is bitter-ish, grassy, with a dry herb note. Dill? Rhubarb? Bonkers but delightful. 🥃

Lads, tried this one neat. 🥃 First sniff – hm, getting cinnamon & baked apple, maybe a hint of pear. A little oakiness in the back. On the palate, quite nice. Starts with vanilla & some sweet pear, then a wave of clove & woody spice kicks in. 👍 It’s got a bit of a spicy kick, y’know, but it’s mellowed by these toffee & nutmeg notes. Warming. Finish is long & warming, with lingering spices and a faint whisper of smokiness. Not bad at all.

Oh, this whisky's got a real smoky vibe, like a campfire in autumn. 🍂 A bit of honey sweetness too, and maybe some apple notes that pop out. It's smooth going down, with a warm finish that lingers ages. Perfect for a quiet evening in, innit? 😊 Sometimes I get a hint of spice, like cinnamon or nutmeg, but it's not overpowering. Really makes you savour each sip. 👍
