Gosh, this is really good. The colour is this lovely pale gold, and the nose... rather vanilla-ed and fresh panettone, like walking into a baker's. On the palate, wow, so much custard! And acacia honey, then a little cinnamon and a hint of oranges. There's this soft curry-like pepper, just the right warmth. It's showcasing the powers of proper small batches, I reckon. The finish is rather long, leaving you with perfect easy barley and malted barley notes. Honestly, just what the doctor ordered. Ferien! 🥃

今天尝的这款威士忌，真有点假期的感觉！Les vacances! 🥳 闻起来有橙子、梨子，还带点肉桂和肉豆蔻。喝下去麦芽味超浓，有点像梨酒和梨 cider 的混合。 尾韵有点橡木和锯末，但整体 flawless，really good。 蛋奶冻和布里欧修的甜味很明显，长度 rather long。 这种 ultra-dry 的风格，crazy 但正合我意，just what the doctor ordered。 小批量酿造确实 power，比一般威士忌更有特色。

First sip got that quite some peppermint hit – freshens you right up! Then wow, custard just floods in, really thick custard again, maybe even some fresh panettone and brioche vibes underneath. Oh, and there’s oranges, like sunny citrus notes peeking through. 🍊 Digs deeper, gets very malty and barley-y, almost like Perfect easy barley – you know, that wholesome, cereal thing. Hints of acacia honey and cinnamon weave in, sweet but not cloying. Pale gold in the glass, reminds me a bit of apple juice, honestly. Finish is rather long, dries right out – a crazy ultra-dry old Glenfiddich type feel, if that makes sense? Ends with a whisper of sawdust and lingering warmth. Phew! 💨 Really good, just what the doctor ordered on a quiet evening. Makes you think of lazy afternoons – Les vacances! Ferien! It’s a pale gold in the glass, looking really inviting. On the nose, I get brioche and acacia honey, with a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon – smells like holidays! Tasting it, custard jumps out, maybe some pear cider or poiré. It’s totally malty and barley-y, with quite some peppermint and soft curry-like pepper. Perhaps just a wee tad oaky towards the aftertaste, which is rather long. Phew, it’s flawless! Really good, just what the doctor ordered. Les vacances! Holydays! 😊
