Whiskyspace Notes 1526

Blimey, this one’s a proper journey. First off, it smells like I’ve cracked open some old geenever with a hint of Tarragone and a tiny bit of turmeric. There’s a lovely rooty, earthy thing going on, almost like digging in a garden. Then you get this wave of tiny spices, a very lovely caraway note, and suddenly it’s all tangerines and honeysuckle. It’s eggy in a weird, comforting way, like a custard tart but with a coconut ball twist. The finish is medium or almost short, but it leaves you with a stunning citrus kick – think lime blossom and orange blossom having a party. Absolutely fab roots and spices, this one. 👍
