This dram is rather another world! 😊 Complex and elegant, with very subtle angelica and prickly pears. I love the coconut balls and hint of banana – some old grain character, a little rougher but still very good. It's interesting how it all comes together. Notes of cinnamon, fine touches of grass, melon skin, and white wine. Lemon curd shines through with nice lemony touches, not dominated by any sort of cask influence. Fresh American oak, little fresh oak, more American oak character – not pumped-up by a lot of sherry, which is great. Medium body, with fresh asparagus and candyfloss, and a touch of tobacco. Much less ‘empty’ than some other drams I've tried! 😊

Picked up this dram expecting something standard but it's actually quite intriguing. First there's this gentle banana note, sort of like a ripe one left on the table, mixed with what I can only describe as candy floss sweetness. Then it opens up with some lovely fresh grass and maybe a hint of mint leaf? Like walking through a damp meadow. The oak influence is subtle - more of a fresh, light touch than heavy charred wood. I get a bit of cinnamon spice and some walnut bitterness, but it's balanced by this lovely lemon curd richness. Not at all what I'd call a "big" whisky, but there's real complexity here. Mid-palate there's something almost like melon skin freshness, with a whisper of tobacco and ginger bite. The finish has these nice lemony touches that linger, with a ghost of white wine crispness. Quite elegant really - doesn't feel overworked or pumped up with sherry. Overall it's like... if a garden took itself seriously but still knew how to have a good time. Unusual but very enjoyable indeed. 🥃

Lovely warm dram 🥃 I get honey, vanilla and a bit of orange peel, then some gentle oak and pepper. A wee smoky edge too, but not too heavy. Feels cosy, smooth-ish, with a nice dry finish. Quite easy to sip on a chilly evening.

Nose: 🍎 apple and cinnamon, kinda spicy with a bit of 🔥 smokiness. Palate: smooth, malty with honey sweetness ✨. Nice long finish! 😊

Well, this whisky's got a right lovely character. 🥃 Starts with a burst of sweet toffee, then there's a hint of green apple that makes it fresh. 🍏 The finish is all warm and spicy, like a cozy night by the fire. 🔥 Quite the dram!
