Hmm, this one starts off delicate with honeydew melon, but then you get bitter almonds and a cardboardy note that's kinda out of fashion. 🤔 Yellow chartreuse and grassy hints make it much better than it sounds, though. The finish is pretty long and bone-dry, more like amontillado, with echoes of cardboard and a touch of stearin. It's like lemon tarte with meringue, but also burnt and bitter herbs. Not for the nostalgic whisky enthusiast, but a very good fighter! 😅

Just tried this one, and it's a bit of a wild ride. First off, there's a deviant twist—think bone-dry amontillado with a cardboardy edge, but then lovely zests of assorted grapefruits and honeydew melon pop up. It's delicate and grassy, with a touch of stearin that reminds me of old magazines. Notes of amaretti and bitter almonds come through, much better than it sounds, honestly. Very good fighter on the palate, with whiffs of thyme tea and paraffin—marginally uncommon, like wee saltines manzanilla-style with butter cream. Not for the nostalgic whisky enthusiast, I'd say. The finish is pretty long, echoes of pine resin and lemon tarte with meringue, plus a wisp of elderflower syrup. Gold in color, atypical but out of fashion in a cool way. 🥃

刚给自己倒了一杯，颜色是漂亮的蜜金色。凑近闻，有点青草香，还挺清新。 第一口下去，嗯…居然有点像柠檬蛋白霜挞，还带着蜜瓜的清甜？挺柔和的。 再喝慢一点，复杂的味道就出来了。闻到了接骨木花糖浆的甜香，但居然还夹着一丝…纸板味？像是翻旧杂志时飘出来的那种奇特陈旧感，但意外地不讨厌。 尾调挺长，嘴里留着点苦杏仁和焦香草药的回味，还有点像Amaretti饼干。整体感觉很特别，有点像老式的黄荨麻酒，带点石蜡和硬脂的质感。 老实说，这风味组合听起来有点怪，但实际喝起来却很美妙。比它描述出来的感觉要好喝多了。

Palate hits soft – honey’d orchard fruits, then that gentle oaky spice sneaks in. Mid-sip there’s a lovely warmth, almost like toasted hazelnuts crumble in brown butter 🥜 Finish? Dried figs ’n a ghost of woodsmoke. Lingers slow, makes ye sigh a bit. Honestly, it’s like sitting by a fire after a long walk in the drizzle. No harsh edges, just mellow an’ kind.
