Hmm, this one starts off delicate with honeydew melon, but then you get bitter almonds and a cardboardy note that's kinda out of fashion. 🤔 Yellow chartreuse and grassy hints make it much better than it sounds, though. The finish is pretty long and bone-dry, more like amontillado, with echoes of cardboard and a touch of stearin. It's like lemon tarte with meringue, but also burnt and bitter herbs. Not for the nostalgic whisky enthusiast, but a very good fighter! 😅
