Gave this a proper go tonight and honestly, it's actually very good. First thing I got was this bed of earth and leaves sort of vibe, bit of straw in there too. Then it opens up with some lovely citrus and lemon grass, really pleasant freshness that hits the nose nicely. As it sits in the glass, the jellybeans come through and there's a bit of liquorice allsorts going on — proper herbal stuff with some aloes mixed in. Without excessive woody notes though, which I do appreciate. Here's the thing — it gets sweeter and sweeter as you go. Like someone's dusted it with icing sugar. 🍬 Finish is quite long and clean, and there's these funny notes of pears in the aftertaste that keep popping up. Didn't expect that at all. Much more like it honestly. Really enjoyable pour for a quiet evening in. 🥃

Fresh and sweet, with straw, citrus and a grassy wee edge 🌿 Gets sweeter as it goes — jellybeans, icing sugar, a bit of marzipan. Then some herbs, liquorice sweets and a funny pear note at the end. Quite long, clean, and honestly pretty enjoyable 🥃

Quite cosy, this one 🥃 I get a soft waft of honey, oak and a wee touch of smoke. Bit of spice on the tongue, then it settles into a warm, mellow finish. Nice for a slow evening, not too fussy.

Warm and easy-going dram. I get soft smoke, honey, a bit of dried fruit and spice. Feels cosy, like a rainy evening pour by the telly 🥃 Finish is gentle, slightly oaky, with a wee sweet kick.

Quite warming and cosy, with a soft sweetness up front. I get a bit of vanilla, dried fruit, gentle spice and a wee oaky dryness at the end. Feels like a good slow sipper on a chilly evening 🥃 Smooth enough, but still has a nice little kick.
