The nose is absolutely lovely – vanilla fudge and tropical fruits hit me first, with a hint of late harvest white wine. 😊 Taking a sip, it's a tad rougher at first but then smooths into jammy tones of oranges and dried fruits, like marmalade and banana liqueur. There's a spicy cinnamon kick, rich chocolate, and cappuccino notes, balanced by Demerara sugar. Really nicely put together.

Right, so that first sniff is just lovely – honey, dried fruits, and a touch of Demerara sugar. On the palate it’s maybe a tad rougher than some other '76s I’ve tried recently, but honestly, it’s pretty perfect in its own way. There’s this symphonic rush of plums, oranges, and what I’d swear is banana liqueur and kumquat. The finish is long, rich yet perfectly balanced, with the expected spices coming through – nutmeg and cinnamon here, of course. It’s amazing how good this stuff was, really makes you wonder how it flew under the radar back then. A little bit of history in a glass. 😊

Blimey, this one's a proper treat. Poured myself a dram and the colour's gorgeous — full gold, catches the light beautifully. The nose is absolutely lovely. You get this marmalade hit straight away, then it opens up into plums, oranges, even some kumquat and what reminds me of banana liqueur. Tropical fruit notes come through too — passion fruit especially. It's like sniffing a fruit compote honestly 🍊 First sip and it's rich, jammy, loads of fruit all over the place. There's honey and dried fruits weaving through, with little spicy notes dotted about. Vanilla fudge comes to mind as well. Midway through I'm picking up this late harvest white wine vibe — sweet but not cloying. Finishes long and perfectly balanced. Nutmeg and cinnamon show up right at the end, just what you'd hope for. Maybe a touch of chocolate and cappuccino lurking in the background too. Really beautiful stuff. Went back for a second pour without thinking about it 😄

喝起来先是巧克力和卡布奇诺那种烘烤的暖意，慢慢能尝到蜂蜜和干果的甜香，像在吃一块扎实的水果蛋糕 🍰 果味特别足，李子、橙子、金桔，还有点香蕉利口酒的感觉，热带水果味也冒出来了，像喝了一口混合果汁。各种香料和果酱的小味道层层叠叠的，挺有意思。 有点像晚收白葡萄酒那种甜润感，加了一小勺德梅拉拉糖似的，平衡感真好。回味又长又扎实，但一点不腻，喝完杯底还留着甜香料和果酱的气息 🍯 确实是杯很棒的威士忌，闻起来就让人心情好。

Quite mellow and warming 🥃 I get soft fruit, a bit of honey, gentle spice, and a wee smoky edge. Feels cosy, easy to sip, with a nice dry finish. Lovely on a chilly evening.
