Whiskyspace Notes 1317

Blimey, that first nosing proper grabs you. Get this massive burst of waxy lemon peel and grapefruit juice, like someone’s zesting right under your nose. There’s a bit of that old island character in there too – not naming names, but you know the sort, all coastal and a little bit medicinal. Antiseptic, maybe, but in a good, clean way. 🌊 The sip’s got proper oomph. It’s loud, you know? Like putting on quite a show. All that rounded citrus comes through, sweet like cough syrup but then it’s balanced by this sharp, mineral edge and a hint of salty brine. Traces of almond and a softer, sweeter waxy note emerge later, almost like beeswax or old putty. The finish goes on forever. That smoky, minty rubbery thing lingers, with more lemon and a whisper of flowers and dry straw. Every sip’s a bit different. Honestly, it’s just perfect. 😍
