Ah, this one's got quite a lot of tobacco on the nose, and some lovely dried figs too. It's a sherried Glenrothes, for sure – I get that classic, clean, medium body. But there's also this earthy kind of fruitiness underneath, like good tobacco mixed with good figs, with notes of earth. The colour is a proper gold. Taste-wise, it's very barley-y and flinty, which I love. A very good young drop, really. There's a hint of pecans and pumpkin oil as it opens up. It's mid-sherried, I'd say – moderately sherried, not a sherry bomb. Just quite lovely overall. 👍

Right then, here’s the sip… Nose first: caramel fudge 🍮 and a whiff of old leather armchair. Bit of dried apricot, maybe a few sultanas. On the tongue—oaky vanilla hits right away, then honey’d orchard fruit. Mid-sip you get a warm pepper prickle, no’ too sharp, more like cracked black pepper on a Sunday roast. 🍯✨ Finish is proper lang and oily, with a drift of bonfire smoke and dark choccy. Touch of sea salt right at the end. Cracking dram, could happily nurse this for hours.

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, oak, and dried fruit, with a gentle peppery kick. Feels smooth enough, then leaves a wee spicy warmth after. Nice for a quiet evening.

Warm and a bit honeyed, with soft oak and a wee spicy kick. Feels cosy, smooth-ish, and nicely mellow by the fire 🥃✨
