Just had a sip and it's quite something. Starts with notes of ale and sweet maize, very distillate-driven – not the Koh-I-Noor, but incredibly honest. Tastes like shortbread and pears, with lime peel and kiwis peeking in. A very fine sweet little dram, though it feels like it's lacking thirty extra-years for depth. Pure barley eau-de-vie at heart, with apples, a touch of concrete and nail polish. Sunflower honey and oil come through, along with bubblegum and grass juice. Good stuff, reminds me of barley water and crushed pine needles, even Smarties candy. Moderate fatness on the tongue. 😊

Colour's pale like honey water, first sip's really quite gentle.

this one's got a bit of a concrete sort of smell, you know, like after it rains on a building site. and then a whiff of something sweet, maybe shortbread from a tin. oh, there's a hint of ale in there, like a craft beer. and a bit of that bubblegum and Smarties note, kind of nostalgic. the body's rather fat and oily, like sunflower oil coating the glass. then there's this grassy, green apple and pear thing happening. underneath it all, there's a faint nail polish remover vibe, but it works somehow. like it's been in some tired, old casks. you get some coffee fudge sweetness coming through, balancing it out. the finish is medium length, leaving you with a distillate-driven warmth. pleasant enough for a mid-week pour. 🥃

Feels warm and cosy, with a bit of honey, oak and gentle spice. Slightly smoky at the end, but still quite smooth 😊 Nice wee dram for a quiet evening.

Ooft, that’s a defo full-bodied one! 😋 First hit is proper rich, kinda earthy n smoky – like a bonfire in the woods. Then it opens up, innit? Gettin’ some lovely vanilla and a bit of dark chocolate creeping in. Might catch a wee hint of orange peel too, subtle like. 🍊 Warm finish, sticks around for ages. Reckon it’s a proper winter dram. Top stuff.
