Whiskyspace Notes 1500

Just had a sip and it's quite something. Starts with notes of ale and sweet maize, very distillate-driven – not the Koh-I-Noor, but incredibly honest. Tastes like shortbread and pears, with lime peel and kiwis peeking in. A very fine sweet little dram, though it feels like it's lacking thirty extra-years for depth. Pure barley eau-de-vie at heart, with apples, a touch of concrete and nail polish. Sunflower honey and oil come through, along with bubblegum and grass juice. Good stuff, reminds me of barley water and crushed pine needles, even Smarties candy. Moderate fatness on the tongue. 😊
