Quite a fresh, grassy dram 🌿 Sweet barley, honey and loads of maple syrup up front, then apple juice, vanilla and a bit of mint. There’s a wee herbal/tobacco edge too, with sweet oak and a waxy feel. Medium finish, apple peel and barley hanging about. Lovley enough, with a bit more body than expected.

Warm and easy-going dram 🥃 I get honey, vanilla, a bit of oak, and a gentle nutty sweetness. There’s a wee peppery tingle, but it stays quite cosy. Nice for a quiet evening, not too fussy.

Right, here goes... Nose first up is pure stewed apples an’ a whiff of vanilla custard 🍎🍮 Then the sherry cask jumps out – raisins, dark chocolate, maybe a tiny bit of burnt orange peel 👃✨ Bit of oak char sittin’ quietly in the backgroun. On the palate, oh mate. Thick an’ oily, coats yer whole gob. Honeycomb drizzled on warm flapjack, then a spike of cinnamon and ginger heat 🍯🔥 The dried fruits come rollin’ through – figs, sultanas, a dab of black cherry jam. Slight prickle of black pepper right at the end, keeps things lively. Finish hangs about for ages. That peppery tingle fades into a soft, smoky ember and a faint echo of salted caramel 🌶️🧂 Leaves yer mouth a bit dry, but in a lovely “just had a proper dram” sorta way. Crackin’ stuff. Would park myself in a big armchair by the fire with this one. 🥃

First sip: cozy warmth. 😊 Then, a kick of spice with sweet fruit notes. 🍎 Finish is smooth and long. Luvly! 👍
