Well, poured myself a dram and gave it a nosing... right away I'm getting these lovely tropical fruits - pineapple and mango, maybe some guava. There's a lovely sweetness too, like rose jelly and a hint of vanilla fudge. On the palate, it's got this really nice malty backbone but super fruity at the same time. I'm thinking of cooked peaches and apricots. There's a subtle white pepper kick that develops, quite pleasant really. The mouthfeel is almost like a fresh sabayone or a fluffy, freshly baked cake. It finishes cleanly, with that fruitiness lingering. Not a massive, overly complex beast, but honestly... it's just a really nice, approachable, and well-made fruity whisky. The kind you'd happily have a couple of pours of after work. Very naturally presented. 😊
