Just poured a dram of this pale gold liquid. 🍯 The nose immediately hits with wonderful floralness – dandelions, pansies, a touch of beeswax. Beneath that, there's acacia honey and soft butterscotch. Sipping at 46%, it’s floral yet firm. I get those overripe gooseberries and quinces, like a summer afternoon, with a citrus streak. Then some biscuits and a tiny tad oaky, almost like Meursaulty wine. The finish is rather long, with mirabelles and a hint of early grey and soft liquorice wood. A proper, charming whisky. 😉 Makes you think of gold sunshine in a glass. Quite the find.

Wow, this one's really powerful but excellently balanced. On the nose, very fragrant – I get very ripe gooseberries, quinces, and a bit of liquorice wood. Tastes like mead, with overripe apples and butterscotch from the American oak. There's crumbles of speculoos and biscuits, and a hint of beeswax. Just a tiny tad oaky, but in a good way. It's gold-colored, floral yet firm, with mirabelles and meadows honey. At 46%, it's spot on. And pansies and citrus come through too! 🍯

Popped the cork and honestly, it’s like burying your nose in a warm patch of dandelions and pansies right after the rain. Very fragrant, almost mead-like sweetness drifting up. 🌼 First sip, suddenly I’m tasting those little golden mirabelle plums and very ripe gooseberries, then this gentle wave of butterscotch and meadows honey… not heavy honey, the lighter ones, acacia maybe. There’s a lovely floralness that just hangs about. Mid-palate it goes all Meursaulty for a sec — buttery, sunny, with a whisper of soft liquorice and even a memory of Earl Grey. Not tannic, just elegant. Biscuits dipped in nectar. A tiny tad oaky frame around quinces and citrus zest. Excellently balanced, the sort of drop you just hold under your tongue while looking out at the gold evening light. Pure comfort, no effort.

Well, this whisky's got a lovely oakiness with hints of vanilla 🥃 and a bit of smokiness that's rather warming. Tastes like autumn fruits – apples, maybe pears – with a spicy kick. Very smooth on the tongue, innit? 😊 Oh, and a touch of honey comes through too. 🍯 Defo one to savour.
