Poured myself a dram, and it's a lovely deep amber colour, just beautiful. 🥃 On the nose, wow, it's like a bag of oranges – so fresh and wonderful, with a hint of mint and moss giving it an earthy feel. Reminds me a bit of Rivesaltes, that sweet wine character. Taste-wise, it's sweet winey with classic rich sherriness from a sherry-treated hogshead. Fruitier than I'd thought, almost like quality PX, adding real dimension. There's an ex-peater note too, maybe some humus earthiness underneath. The finish is sweet and long, spicy with liquorice and gang – you know what I mean? It's just perfect for sipping. 😊

刚倒了一杯，这深琥珀色的酒液看着就 lovely。喝起来 first thing 是满嘴的橙子香，像 bag of oranges 那样新鲜，还夹着点 crystallised oranges 的甜感。雪莉桶带来的 classic rich sherriness 很明显，加了点 humus 和 earth 的 grounding，突然又跳出 mint 和 liquorice 的 gang 来凑热闹。收尾是 spicy finish 和 sweet finish 混在一起，有种奇妙的 dimension，像 roots 和 fresh oranges 在嘴里跳舞。整体 fruitier 又 balanced，Rivesaltes 和 quality PX 的影子隐约在，真 perfect！👍

Just tried this one neat and wow, the first thing that hits is fresh oranges - like peeling a real one. Then there's this rich, sweet sherry note that feels super classic, almost like old library books but in a good way. Waited a minute and got some earthy vibes, like damp soil after rain, plus a hint of roots and something green, maybe moss? The sweetness stays, kinda like sweet wine or maybe Rivesaltes, and later some crystallised oranges pop up. Finish is long with a bit of spice and mint cooling things down. There's definitely a peaty background but it's not smoky at all, more like distant campfire embers. Really nice orange and liquorice combo lingering 😌

🥃 Alright, this whisky's got a real smoky vibe, innit? Like bonfires and autumn leaves. 🍂 But there's a sweetness too, kinda like honey and vanilla. 🍯 Smooth finish, warms you right up on a cold eve. Proper good stuff! 😊
