Whiskyspace Notes 1324

Wow, this one's something else entirely. First thing that hits me is this gorgeous beeswax and honey thing, like all the good stuff from a beehive just melted together. Then there's this pine note that's absolutely glorious — reminds me of walking through a forest after rain. A wee touch of metallic at the back, like grandma's old copper kettle you'd find in the attic. The dried figs and light toffee come through lovely, and there's this pipe tobacco note that keeps coming back. Very Sauternes-like, the really old ones that went bone dry — you know the type? Almost miso-like in its depth. Szechuan pepper gives it a little tingle, and the finish? Eternal. Just goes on and on with resinous, herbal tones and a touch of dark chocolate. Red mahogany colour in the glass too 🥃 Honestly feels like tasting pre-war cognac or something equally ancient. Stunning stuff, this is a proper star.
