Wow, this one's something else entirely. First thing that hits me is this gorgeous beeswax and honey thing, like all the good stuff from a beehive just melted together. Then there's this pine note that's absolutely glorious — reminds me of walking through a forest after rain. A wee touch of metallic at the back, like grandma's old copper kettle you'd find in the attic. The dried figs and light toffee come through lovely, and there's this pipe tobacco note that keeps coming back. Very Sauternes-like, the really old ones that went bone dry — you know the type? Almost miso-like in its depth. Szechuan pepper gives it a little tingle, and the finish? Eternal. Just goes on and on with resinous, herbal tones and a touch of dark chocolate. Red mahogany colour in the glass too 🥃 Honestly feels like tasting pre-war cognac or something equally ancient. Stunning stuff, this is a proper star.

Poured a dram and it hit me right between the eyes with this stunning colour—mahogany with red hues, like light through a very old bottle. The nose is just... wow. It’s like finding Grandma’s famous old copper kettle filled with heather honey and dried figs, but then there’s this avalanche of wee honeyed, resinous and herbal tones. Beeswax, light toffee, Smyrna raisins, and that gloriously pine-y, herbal teas and liqueurs thing. Proper ex-solera cask stuff. It’s massive but never too dry or green. All those dried fruits coalesce into one, not just an accumulation of flavours—like a very old Sauternes that's digested all its sugars and gone stunningly dry. Very old spirits tend to converge, they say, but there’s no flaws in this nose, none that would be related to old age. It’s all just... integrated. The finish is long, keeps unfolding with that beeswax and a faint memory of the copper kettle. Seriously star quality. 🌟

Feels cosy and a bit smoky, with honey, dried fruit and a wee spicy kick. Quite smooth, warming, and lingers nicely — proper fireside dram vibes 🥃✨

Proper dram, this. Nose hits ye with honey'd orchard fruits straight off 🍏🍯, then a wee whiff of sea salt and soft peat smoke creepin' in. Sippin' it... blimey. Rich and oily on the tongue, like stewed pears with a dusting of cinnamon. That smokiness stays polite—more like a bonfire’s embers than a full-on blaze 🔥. Slight prickle of oak spice, then it slides into vanilla fudge and a briny caramel note. Finish is medium-long. Warms your chest, leaves a gentle drift of toasted barley and a ghost of dried apricot. Bit of coastal air still hangin' about. Honestly, this is dangerously easy drinkin' for its strength. Propa cosy 🥃✨.
