Alright, grabbed a dram after work. The nose is pretty nice, getting that familiar whiff of peat and something like camphor mixed in. First sip is creamy but has this nervous, powerful attack – kinda hits the back of the throat hot, almost like hot caramel. There's a bit of nutmeg and sugared coffee in there, and then it opens up to some earthy flavours and maybe a hint of pastry. Just a bit rough around the edges, honestly. The finish leaves you with that rather peaty note and a whisper of tropical fruits. It's a harmonious one, though – each sip kinda grows on you. 🥃 Not the smoothest, but it's got character.

Ah, that first sip is quite a beast. Nose is pretty nice with tropical fruits and a bit of old rose, maybe some pastry. 🌺 Then it hits the palate—creamy but nervous attack, lots of hot butter and fudge, followed by this smoked tea and medicinal thing. Gets quite earthy with nutmeg and camphor coming through. Really warming, like hot caramel and sugared coffee on the finish, which is very long. Reminds me a bit of a great old rum, with that golden, harmonious quality. Just a bit rough around the edges, but that’s part of its charm. Rather peaty and powerful, honestly. Impressive stuff. 🥃🔥

Pretty nice nose right off the bat - got earthy flavours and a whiff of tropical fruits. The colour's a nice gold, quite impressive to look at. First sip hit me with a rather medicinal attack, but it's creamy and nervous at the same time. Really nervous and powerful, quite a beast on the palate! Noticed some nutmeg and old rose, with a camphor kick that reminded me of great old rum, though much less than the ‘Fragments’ version. Tasting notes brought out pastry, sugared coffee, and smoked tea. Just a bit rough in places, but hey, it's character. Hot caramel and paraffin come through nicely, with quite some peat making it rather peaty overall. Finish is very long, lingering with a Marc de Bourgogne spirit vibe. Definitely a harmonious one in the end, though the attack keeps you on your toes 😅.

Nose hits with toffy apples and a whisper of peat 🔥 Then a wave of vanila pods, almost creamy. Palatte is right oily, orchard fruits stewed with cinnemon 🍎 Dark choclate bitterness sneaks in, but it’s snug. Finish lingers, oaky and warm, with a wee salty kiss 🌊 Proper cozy dram, that. 🥃

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, dried fruit and soft oak. Feels cosy rather than punchy — a wee spicy tingle at the end, quite nice by the fire 🥃✨
