Right then, poured myself a wee dram for the evening 🥃 First thing I get is this lovely hint of white wine, almost like a dry Riesling. Then there's a gentle waxiness, you know, the pleasant kind that coats your mouth. It all feels really nice and integrated. It's got this malty backbone, quite fruity too - reminds me of muesli with some dried orange peel. And a touch of grapefruit juice for freshness, mind you. Just a little more citrus would be perfect, but it's nice as is. The texture is properly pleasant, that fatness just sits so well on the tongue. Found some notes of fresh brioche, maybe a bit near-yeasty. There's a tiny hint of something burnt, like from a Signatory bottling, but not the malt itself. Ooh, now I'm getting oranges and honey mixing together. And right at the end, a wee whisper of coffee-schnapps and more vanilla coming through. Swims well in the glass, no doubt. All in all, quite a fine drop for a midweek pour 😊

Had a sip of this pretty oily malt whisky last night, and wow, the pleasant fatness on your tongue is real. Sweet malt upfront, with oranges and honey plus tangerines coming through. I wish there was just a little more citrus, like grapefruit juice. It's all nice, hints of muesli and fresh brioche, even a near-yeasty vibe that reminds me of a Californian IPA or white wine. Swims well, with more vanilla and a touch of coffee-schnapps. A little lemongrass in there too. Really makes you choose your coffee, choose your schnapps! 😋

Warm and mellow, with a wee hit of citrus, honey and soft spice. Bit of oak, a little vanilla, then a cosy dry finish. Nice by the fire 😊

Ooof, that's a proper noseful! 🍯 First hit is sweet, like warm vanilla custard and a bit of orange peel. Then you get this lovely malty, biscuity thing going on... reminds me of Hobnobs. 🤤 After a minute, there's a gentle waft of something smoky, like a distant bonfire on a cool evening. It's not in your face, just a whisper. 🔥 The finish is long and a bit spicy, with a hint of dark chocolate. Leaves you feeling all warm inside. Top stuff. 👌

Oh blimey, this whisky's got a right proper smoky aroma hitin' the nose. Kinda like a cozy fireplace, init? 🥃 Taste-wise, there's a bit o' sweetness, remindin' me of honey or toffe, with a dash of spice that lingers. Quite smooth goin' down, too. 😋 Finish is warm and lovel, leavin' a nice woody note. Could sip this all evenin'. 👍
