Right, poured a dram tonight. First thing – it's a bit shy at first, doesn't jump out at you. But then… oh, there's that lovely, clean waxiness. Classic, really. Getting sooty notes mixed with lemon wax, like an old candle. Then some tart grapefruit peel, maybe a hint of green apple skin. There's a fresh, almost coastal, herbaceous thing too – fresh barley and a few crushed herbs, like walking through a field by the sea. Goes down rather smoothly. A little salty, crusty note, with white flowers lingering. The aftertaste has that clean, waxy citrus and a wee coastal flourish. Honestly, a dependably delicious wee dram. Might be a bit dangerous if you're not careful, it's moreish. 🥃

Right, poured myself a dram of this tonight and honestly, it's one of those that takes a bit of warming up to. Shy to begin with, you know? First sip was all pale white wine and a bit of that waxy lemon skin thing going on. Give it ten minutes though and oh my... 🤤 Suddenly there's this lovely Turkish delight note coming through, bit of rosewater, touch of sandalwood underneath. Very classical stuff. The waxiness really builds up — like waxy grapefruits and that old-school candle waxy feel, rather abundant actually. There's some sooty quality in there too, reminds me a bit of those Bidi Indian cigarettes my mate used to smoke at uni 😂 And underneath it all there's this damp earth and clay thing, almost muddy, like walking through a freshly ploughed field near the coast. Get towards the end and there's this wee coastal flourish — aye, definitely that fresh barley grown by the seashore thing. Little bit of mint tea, crushed herbs, maybe a touch of green tobacco leaf. Apple skins somewhere in the background. Bit of porridge and lime juice on the finish, decent length too. Rather biscuity, which I always enjoy. Not gonna lie though, that little kick at the end is rather dangerous if you're not careful 🥴 A couple of these and you'd be absolutely legged. Dependably delicious wee pour this one. Very pleasant indeed.

Blimey, this one's shy at first, like a pale white wine in the glass. But give it a minute and a sip... whew. Right off, it's sooty and waxy, almost like sniffing a clean fireplace. Then comes this sharp lime juice and lemon oil, with a bit of green tobacco leaf. There's something damp and earthy in there too, like the smell after rain, mixed with fresh barley and wet clay. After a bit, it opens up. You get these lovely apple skins, waxy grapefruits, and that classic lemon peel. There's a little rosewater and Turkish delight floating around, which is a nice surprise. It's very pleasant overall. The finish has this little coastal flourish, a crusty saltiness that sticks around. Quite a ride, and decent length on it. Just watch out, it’s rather dangerous if you’re not careful - too easy to keep sipping! 🥃

Proper lush, this one. Nose is all toffee apples and a whisper of bonfire smoke. Smoov on the tongue, like melted honey, then a wee kick of cinnamon comes through. Finish lingers, warm and peppery. Cracking dram for a rainy night. 🥃✨

Right, this whisky's got a proper smooth start, like buttery caramel with a hint of vanilla. The mid-palate brings some fruity notes, maybe apples or pears, and a touch of smokiness on the finish. Really enjoyable! 😊 Blimey, it's so easy to drink – love the way it coats the mouth. A bit of spice creeps in later, but nothing too overpowering. Top stuff! 🥃
