Higher strength feel, quite austere and dry. I get straw, raw barley, a bit of fresh mushroom, then ginger and loads of lemon peel 🍋 Not much vanilla, not a big plush dram — more sharp and old-school. Finish goes on ages. Quite excellent, if you’re in the mood for something less easy.

Quite cosy on the nose — bit of honey, light smoke, and dried fruit 🍯 Tastes warm and gentle, with a wee peppery kick. Finish is soft, slightly oaky, and lingers nicely. Easy sipper for a quiet evening.
