Right then, just had a glass and it's quite the ride. Goes down smooth, you know, just go with the flow. The delivery is stunning - really thick and fat on the tongue. Gets you thinking of greasy peat and brilliant little notes popping up. Honestly, it's thrilling, really dominating the palate. Devastatingly complex, I'd say. Stunningly syrupy one second, then bready, like old cigarettes the next. Hints of dried mint and tarragon, a bit lemony and fruity underneath. Oh, and there's a weird anchovy note? In a good way, mind you. Endless finish with camphor and tar. It's rather dominating, but in a gutsy way. Very powerful. Vividly coastal - squid ink, crushed seashells. That brine mixed with olive oil thing is dead on. A bit petrolic, sweaty almost. Like petrol and ointments. Coal dust and salty too, feels raw on the journey. More embrocations and those salty, umami broths. A bit medical but loads of gutsy exotic fruits. It's a proper journey, that. 🥃

Whew, that's a massive nose on this one. Seriously, Netflix could shoot a whole series about it 🍊. Getting these huge waves of citron liqueur and triple-sec at first, then it dives into something earthy—truffles, old Comté cheese, even a bit of ham and seaweed. It's impressively thick. On the palate, it's imposing and full gold. There's a salty and sweet thing going on, with dried figs and that wee tad too sweet jammy note, but it's balanced by tiny vinegary touches and a blast of herbs and Woodruff. It's like infusing herbs from the woods into some vin jaune. The texture is almost like marrow or a rich balsamico. The finish? Oh, it's very long. Turns a bit savoury again—cigar ashes, mosses, and that rubber/polishes note, but in a good way, like embrocations. There's even a hint of plastic and tyres right at the end, which sounds weird but works. Without any single sign of tiredness, this dram just keeps giving. A brilliant, if complex, sip.

Warm and cosy on the nose — bit of honey, dried fruit and gentle spice 🥃 Tastes smooth, slightly oaky, with a wee peppery kick. Finish is mellow and comforting, like a quiet night in.

Quite warm and cosy, with a bit of honeyed sweetness, soft spice, and a dry oaky finish. Feels like a proper evening dram by the fire 🥃✨

Warm and a bit spicy, with a soft sweet edge 🍯 Feels cosy, like a quiet pub evening. Bit of oak, wee touch of fruit, and a nice lingering warmth. Slighly smoky too.
