Right, had a wee dram of this and mulling it over.
Nose is like walking into a warm kitchen—stewed orchard fruits, a good dose of heather honey 🍯, and the faintest whisp of bonfire smoke. Not in yer face, just a gentle background hum.
On the palate it’s surprisingly round. Toffee apples kick in first, then this lovely wave of baking spice, almost like a chai latte ☕️. A prickle of oak comes through, but keeps things lively rather than dry. The mouthfeel’s properly silky, coats everything nicely.
Finish hangs about with a glow—dried apricots, a whisper of dark chocolate, and a soft, peaty warmth that lingers like a fading campfire 🔥.
All in all, a crackin’ sipper for a nippy evening. Definetly one to take your time with.
