Just poured a dram here, lovely golden colour in the glass. First nose is all honey and golden syrup, maybe a hint of that sunflower oil richness. Very rounded and gentle on the palate, not meek though, there's a nice backbone to it. I get that classic refill sherry profile - some marzipan, a touch of shoe polish, even something like Weetabix or gentle breads. It's light, has a pleasant, easy and pleasing character with a real lightness of touch. There's a bit of mineral oil in there too, and fabrics, which sounds odd but is nice. A drop of water really helps, enhances the texture no end. Brings out some aniseed and lemon cough drops. The finish is quite pleasant and robust for something so gentle. Reminds me a bit of youthful dessert wines. No complaints at all. A fine wee drop for a quiet evening. 🥃

Warm and easy-going dram 🥃 I get soft toffee, a bit of dried fruit, light spice, and a gentle woody feel. Quite cosy, not too shouty — the finish hangs around nicely.

Ooft. This dram’s a pure belter. 🥃 Nose is all honeycomb, stewed pears an’ a wee whisper o’ peat reek. First sip’s silkey smooth, toffee apple and a touch o’ gingerbread. Finish coasts for ages, gentle spice and a lick of oak. Crackin’ fireside sipper. 🔥

Quite cosy, this one 🥃 A bit of honey, soft spice, and a wee touch of smoke. Feels warm and easy-going, with a gentle dry finish. Nice for a slow evening, nothing too fussy.

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak, a wee hint of spice and dried fruit. Feels warm, mellow, and easy to sit with on a chilly evening. Nice little glow at the end 😊
