This whisky's got a real west highland accent – pale gold in the glass. Nose is crushed green herbs, yellow flowers, and a whiff of tea tree oil. First sip? Fat and rich, chewy like porridge laced with sea salt and honey. Superbly waxy, waxiness everywhere, with a tang of seawater and fresh hints of grass. Exotic fruit hints in there, but it's highly mineral and oily – big, powerful stuff. That line between mechanical and rustic is wild, toolbox vibes but filtered through sheep wool with sheep wool oils. Good length, leaving clay, putty, medicine notes. Challenging west highland style malt, hugely characterful. Distillate-derived fatness, cooking oils, garages – extremely scarce but I'm loving it. 😊
