Right then, poured myself a dram this evening. First thing that hit was this weird mix of dried herbs and something a bit like sunflower oil? But in a good, rich way. 🥂 It's surprisingly shy at first, then just blooms. There's definitely some ripe guava in there, and a proper treacle pudding sweetness that clings about. Really gloopy and textural, feels like it's sticking to everything in your mouth. A little later, some floral notes pop up - honeysuckle and passion flower maybe. And underneath, there's this hint of camphor and metal, keeping it interesting. It's got that 'fruit bomb in waiting' vibe, like it's holding back. I'm getting banana bread and nutmeg now, with these light notes of vegetable stock. A bit of syrups, melon, and fennel too. Quite the layered thing. 🌺

First sip is a bit shyer than expected, but then it opens up – like walking into a sunny greenhouse. Hmm, I’m getting this sweet honeysuckle and elderflower cordial right away, almost like a delicate fruit tea. Then the fruit bomb starts ticking… ripe guava, lime oils, and something like exotic fruit teas with a hint of syrup. There’s a playful, oily texture, almost like sheep wool if that makes sense? 😄 The finish brings in more layers – a touch of treacle pudding warmth, a whisper of caraway and nutmeg. Some darker notes of light shoe polish and a flicker of camphor, but it all weaves together into this fat, golden, waxy whole. Solid but subtle. Would happily sit with this one on a quiet evening.

Alright, just had a dram... gotta say, the nose is reallly somethin'. 🥃 Get a lotta vanilla an' orange zest first, then... is that a hint of tobacco leaf? Leather too, maybe. 🤔 On the palate, it's like a warm hug. Rich toffee, a bit of dark chocolate, with ginger spice kickin' in later. So well integrated. The finish? Long, with that beautiful smoke an' a touch of dried fruit. A really well balanced, complex pour. Lovin' it. 👍

Oh blimey, this whisky's got a proper nice warmth to it, dunnit? 🥃 Starts off kinda smoky like a campfire, but then – whoosh – fruity notes come thru, maybe some berries an' apples. 🍎 A bit spicy on the tongue, but smooth as, y'know? Feels all cozy in my belly after a sip. 😊 Really enjoy the finish, keeps ya wanting more.
