Whiskyspace Notes 1443

Right then, poured myself a dram this evening. First thing that hit was this weird mix of dried herbs and something a bit like sunflower oil? But in a good, rich way. 🥂 It's surprisingly shy at first, then just blooms. There's definitely some ripe guava in there, and a proper treacle pudding sweetness that clings about. Really gloopy and textural, feels like it's sticking to everything in your mouth. A little later, some floral notes pop up - honeysuckle and passion flower maybe. And underneath, there's this hint of camphor and metal, keeping it interesting. It's got that 'fruit bomb in waiting' vibe, like it's holding back. I'm getting banana bread and nutmeg now, with these light notes of vegetable stock. A bit of syrups, melon, and fennel too. Quite the layered thing. 🌺
