Poured this and it's a beautiful deep gold. First thing I notice is the cake-like sweetness, like sponge cake fresh out the oven. The splendid oloroso makes it softer, more civilised. Nosing gives bitter oranges and marmalade, with nutmeg and liqueur notes. On taste, I'm reminded of coffee, walnuts, and oranges. It's powerful but not overbearing, finishing long and a bit bitter, similar to fresh kougelhopf or blueberry muffins. There's a touch of saponification too, which adds character. 👍

这酒是深金色的，闻起来有经典的雪莉酒特征，带出蓝莓松饼和苦橙的香气，还有一丝肥皂般的细微气息，但很快被甜味掩盖。喝起来比年轻麦芽更柔和，口感蛋糕般的，像海绵蛋糕和利口酒。回味中黑巧克力、核桃和朗姆酒蛋糕的味道交织，带点芥末的辛辣，余味很长。从随身酒瓶里分享，感觉更文明了。😊

Lovely warm dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak, dried fruit and a wee peppery kick. Feels cosy, slightly smoky, with a gentle sweet finish. Nice for a slow evening.

Lovely wee dram 🥃 I get honey, soft oak, a bit of citrus peel and gentle spice. There’s a light smoky edge too, but nothing too heavy. Feels warm, cosy, and easy to sip — proper nice on a quiet evening.

Smokey aroma hits ya right away, like a proper bonfire on the coast 🔥. Bit of peaty earthiness too, innit? On the tongue, get some sweet honey and a dash of vanilla, mixed with a spicy kick that lingers. 🍯🌿 Finish is long, warming, with a hint of dark choclate – not bad at all, mate. Cheers! 😊 Sometimes I think it's too smokey, but then the sweetness balances it out. Really takes ya back to those rainy afternoons by the fire. 👍
