今天开瓶这酒，第一感觉是麦秆和草的气息挺明显，有种 raw barley eau-de-vie 的劲儿。 说实话，比之前喝的另一款稍显粗旷，热感更强些，像是能剥掉獾皮的劲儿（当然没那么夸张）。但慢慢醒开，居然浮出梨汁和一丝大黄的酸甜，还有香草和蛋糕的底子。 整体 medium 身段，带点 cider 的清爽感。比较有趣的是，它几乎像把另一款酒浓缩到了45%上下，但46%那瓶确实更顺口、更 ready 一些。 最后收尾有点 breads 的温暖感，嗯…越喝越觉得两家酒厂风格太接近了 😂

Just tried this whisky – it really strips the fur off a badger at first, but then it opens up. Has a raw barley spirit vibe, with bready and apple cider notes. Tastes like cakes with a bit of rhubarb and vanilla. A tad grittier and rougher than some, but when reduced upfront, it's excellent. Extremely close to something I know, but I'm not saying what. 😄

说实话，第一下喝着不算太讨喜，有点糙。但过一会儿，香草味混着烤面包、蛋糕那种暖香就出来了，还带点梨汁和苹果的清甜。细细品，底下有股很原始的谷物香气，有点像没怎么加工过的大麦烈酒，还有青草和醋栗的酸感。 整体感觉酒体中等，但余韵有点扎喉咙，像那种能strip the fur off a badger的劲儿 😅。朋友之前说46%的版本可能更柔顺点，我这瓶感觉更hot、更raw，带点稻草和姜的辛辣感。不过想到它这么年轻，倒也不奇怪——有些new make做成这样，加点水说不定反而能压住那股躁劲儿，让苹果梨子的鲜味更突出。

Blimey, this one starts off hotter than a summer cider! At first, it's less immediately pleasant, with a kick that could strip the fur off a badger. But let it breathe, and you get lovely vanilla and apple cakes, even raw apples and pears. It becomes more ready after a while, and I'd say it's excellent. Cheers! 😄

Warm, malty and a bit fruity on the nose 🍯 Feels cosy, with a wee spicy kick and a soft oaky finish. Quite easy to sip, proper nice on a chilly evening.
