Just tried this whisky, and it poured out a beautiful amber. On the nose, magnificent peppers jumped out – really peppery, with fig jam and herbal hints. Took a sip, and it was rich and very elegant. I got salted butter and a surprising absinthe touch. There's black tea and dried raisins in there, with walnut and orange zest popping up. It's bourbon-aged, so honeyed sweetness. Absolutely excellent! 😊
