Just had a sip, and it starts with a sooty, smoky vibe, like a fireplace. Fresh oak comes in next, but the oak starts to take over pretty quickly. There's a peppermint hint that's not unpleasant – reminds me of hessian, a bit earthy. Very okay now. It's no roaring malt whisky, more like peppered grapefruits with a big spirit kick. Got some waxiness and a wee earthiness, similar to strong black tea. Those sexy lemony notes really stand out, along with burnt wood. Lovely slightly smoky lime and lemon flavours linger on. The finish is rather long, and I get a sea water hint, like a coastal breeze. 🥃😊

This whisky is gold in colour, not unpleasant at all. Got lovely slightly smoky lime and lemon, with some peculiar coastal notes. The spirit is big, but this baby likes water – add a drop and it opens up. Reminds me of strong black tea with a hessian feel. Fresh oak and lemongrass hit first, then a bit of green curry spice. Burnt wood in there too, and it just works. Honey on the finish, rather long. 😊

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 I get soft vanilla, a bit of oak, light spice and a touch of dried fruit. Feels smooth, slightly sweet, with a gentle smoky edge. Nice slow sipper for a chilly evening, quite easy-going but still got a wee kick.

Aye, this dram’s got a lovely nose—honey'd orchard fruits, a whisper of brine 🌊, and somethin’ almost floral at the back. First sip’s silky, coats the tongue wi’ stewed pear, a crackle of black pepper, then this soft, earthy peat creeps in. Not a big smoky beast, more like a campfire ember glowing gentle. Finish sits long, waxy lemon peel and a touch of sea salt dark chocolate. Leaves yer mouth warm an’ tingling. ✨🥃 Proper comfort pour, that.

First sip… 🔥 Smoky, kinda woody. Then… sweet, like honey 🍯 Bit of vanilla, maybe? Warm finish, lingers. Really nice, that. Cheers 🥃
