Right, so this one’s got a proper zing to it—tart as anything, like biting into a green apple with a squeeze of lime. Orange zest pops first, then it turns a bit sooty from that coal smoke. It reminds me of an old garden bonfire, spent rhubarb stalks and all. There’s this wonderful freshness, though 🍃—pure grass and crushed flowers, a whisper of herbs. The finish is rather long, much more complex than I expected. Just a little pungent, but in a good way, with smoked marzipan weaving through the citrusy heat. Honestly, it’s incredible what a few extra-years can do to a whisky.

Warm and a bit spicy, with a soft sweet edge. Getting dried fruit, oak, and a wee hint of smoke 🥃 Feels cosy, like a rainy evening dram. Finish is gentle but lingers nicely.

Quite a cosy dram, this. I get a bit of honey, soft oak and a wee touch of spice 🥃 Feels warm and mellow, with a gentle fruity sweetness and a dry-ish finish. Nice for a quiet evening, really.

Blimey, this one's got a right proper smokey character, like a bonfire on Guy Fawkes Night. 🔥 There's a lovely sweetness too, a bit like honey on toast. 🍯 The texture's smooth as silk, and it leaves a warm, spicy aftertaste. 🌶️ Really satisfying, innit? 😊 Sometimes I get a hint of fruitiness, maybe apples or summat. 🍎 The finish lingers nicely, makes you wanna take another sip. 👍 Perfect for a chill evening by the fire. 🌙

Right, so had a dram of this one tonight... quite the interesting experience, I'd say. 🥃 First sip hits with this lovely warmth, like a hug from the inside. Then the flavours start... ist's a bit of a sweet and smoky tango. 🍯🔥 Think toasted oak and a hint of dried fruit, maybe some sultanas? There's a gentle peatiness there, not in your face, more like a distant bonfire on a cool evening. Has a nice, oily mouthfeel. Lingers on the tongue with a slightly spicy kick at the end, maybe some ginger or black pepper. A touch of vanilla comes through after a moment. Quite a complex and rewarding sipper, this one. Really makes you sit up and pay attention. Wouldn't say it's a everyday dram, but for when you want something with a bit of depth and story to tell. Cheers! 😊
