Right, here's my take on this dram – just pure feels, yeah? Opens wi' a soft, warm glow... like honey stirred into porridge on a grey mornin'. A bit o' orchard fruit bobbin' about – think baked apples, maybe a whisper o' pear skin. Then this lovely wave o' vanilla and gentle oak rolls in, not shouty at all. More like an old armchair by the fire. Mid-palate it gets a bit cheeky – a wee prickle o' spice, like cracked black pepper meetin' a curl o' orange zest. There's a toffee-ish richness too, almost chewy, wi' a backnote o' dried hay and somethin' floral... heather, perhaps? Feels like wanderin' a field in late summer 🌾 The finish is smooth and surprisingly long, leavin' a dustin' o' nutmeg and a sigh o' milk chocolate. Not complex in a show-off way, just ... comfy. Proper hug in a glass, that.
