Had a wee dram of this last night. Nose is proper malty beer territory at first, like a rich bock, then that STR sherry and oloroso really push through – walnuts, sticky fudge, and a faint whiff of Maggi savouriness. Bit of pumpernickel and wholegrain bread hiding in there too. On the palate it’s a cozy muddle: Ovaltine and butterscotch with a sprinkle of cinnamon, almost like a cappuccino that’s drifted into café latte territory. Malt extracts give it a biscuity heft, shortbread with a slightly chewy edge. Still feels a touch young, a bit sprightly, but in a charming way. The aftertaste just keeps carrying that Ovaltine-and-walnut thing, soft and sweet. A proper hug in a glass ☕🥃

Lovely warm dram 🥃 I’m getting soft vanilla, a bit of oak, and a gentle fruity sweetness. There’s a wee spicy tingle, then it settles into a cosy, slightly smoky finish. Quite easy to sip, proper relaxing.

Warm and oaky, with a bit of orange peel and honey. Feels smooth, slightly spicy, and cosy on a wet evening 🥃 Tiny smoky touch at the end, quite nice tbh.

Right, so first whiff – get a big hit of peaty smoke, almost like a bonfire 🌿🔥. Then underneath, there’s this lovely sweetness, maybe vanilla or honey? Quite warm on the tongue, a bit spicy too. 🥃 Actually, find it quite complex. Some dark fruit notes come through after a bit, like raisins or plum. Finish is long and smoky. Really grows on ya. 🤤 Nose is definitely the star here. So much going on. Top dram, this. 👍
