Right, so this whisky... it's proper nice.
First sip? Get loads of butterscotch an' vanilla, like a fancy dessert. Then there's this gentle smokiness, not bonfire-like, more like... toasted oak? 🥃
A bit of cinnamon comes through, warming but not burnin'. Maybe some stewed fruit at the back, like apples in autumn.
Fink I detect a hint of dark chocolate an' nuts too. It's quite complex, but in a good way, y'know? The finish is long an' comforting, leavin' me with a feelin' of... warmth, I guess.
Reckon it cud do with a tiny drop of water. Opens it right up, innit? 😋
Really grows on ya. Proper sipper, this one. 🔥
