This whisky’s got a straw colour, and the nose hits with a dollop of honey and brewers’ yeast, kinda like a bakery with leaven and apple vinegar. It’s got hints of Madeira and fortified mead, even beer and liquorice in there. Tastes like walnuts and Burgundy, almost a very old riesling vibe – extremely good, with a mustardy touch. 😊
