Good stuff, for sure. This one's got that feeling of quaffing concentrated ale right off the bat. Quite powerful. It's rather fatter than others, Not a light and easy one! Hints of white wine sweetness, maybe tinned pears in syrup. Very malty throughout, totally on malted barley. There's a faint waxiness too. Something slightly burnt comes through, like the crust of a cinnamon cake, with whiffs of baker’s yeast. I get a bit of that bitter oranges thing, and Some cloves. It's a tad difficult to pin down all at once. That feeling of very strong beer lingers. The finish is rather long, with that something burnt/malty staying put. Slight prickliness on the tongue. Overall, a proper sweet ale experience with a lot going on. 🥃

Wow, that first sip really hits you. It's got that sweet, almost confectionery note right up front – reminded me straight away of cinnamon cake. The strength is definetly there, you know? Very malty, not shy at all. You get this feeling like you're quaffing a concentrated, sweet ale, almost like a really strong, cold-distilled beer that's been turned up to eleven. There's some lovely stuff in there too – hints of tinned pears and bitter oranges, a touch of cloves, and maybe the faintest whiff of baker's yeast. It's rather fatter and more full-bodied than a lot of others, totally built on that malted barley. There's a slight prickliness on the tongue and a bit of something slightly burnt or toasty in the background, which I quite like. It finishes rather long, with a faint waxiness coming through. Not a light and easy one, for sure! But a good, complex dram to sit with. 🥃

Quite warming, a bit honeyed and oaky 🍯 Getting some dried fruit, gentle spice, and a soft smoky edge. Nice wee sipper for a slow evening.

First sip? Oh wow, that's a proper smoke bomb 💨 Like a bonfire on the beach, but then it gets all smooth and honey-ish 🍯 Wait, is that... Christmas cake? Rich dried fruit and a bit of spice. Nice and warming in the chest, innit. The finish just hangs around, a bit woody, a bit like dark choclolate. Really moreish. Finishes with a pleasant, loing warmth. Top dram that
