Good stuff, for sure. This one's got that feeling of quaffing concentrated ale right off the bat. Quite powerful. It's rather fatter than others, Not a light and easy one! Hints of white wine sweetness, maybe tinned pears in syrup. Very malty throughout, totally on malted barley. There's a faint waxiness too. Something slightly burnt comes through, like the crust of a cinnamon cake, with whiffs of baker’s yeast. I get a bit of that bitter oranges thing, and Some cloves. It's a tad difficult to pin down all at once. That feeling of very strong beer lingers. The finish is rather long, with that something burnt/malty staying put. Slight prickliness on the tongue. Overall, a proper sweet ale experience with a lot going on. 🥃
