Right, here’s me scribblin this down after a quiet sip. 👇
Nose first—cooked orchard fruits, a bit of stewed pear an apricot, then this gentle oaky warmth creepin in. Not in yer face, more like an old wool blanket by the fire. 🔥
On the palate… ooft. Feels silky, then a wee prickle of spice—cinnamon, maybe a whisper of clove. There’s a honey’d nuttiness too, like bakin spices sprinkled over a crumble. Gets a touch dry at the edges, that proper sherried wood note. 🌰
Finish is medium, leavin a warm, peppery tingle an a faint echo of dark chocolate.
All in all, it’s a cwtchy dram—comfy, autumnal, the sort you reach for when it’s drizzlin outside. No fireworks, just honest, slow-sippin pleasure. 🥃
